Approach to Psychotherapy
I provide what works for the client. Each client has different needs, hurdles, struggles and in many instances clients carry unprocessed early childhood wounds. My style of therapy is non-judgmental, compassionate, and I will help you along your journey toward healing. I will show you unconditional support and care so that you may love yourself more, grow and flourish.
In this current unpredictable climate we are having to take on many additional roles including; juggling work, acting as a teacher for our children, caring for loved ones, fearing illness of family members along with everyday stress. I work to empower people, help reduce their stress and pressure, as well as provide the skills needed to manage life during this unpredictable period of time.
Biography
I am a licensed clinical psychologist born and raised in Southern California. I am proud to say that I am the older sister of a brother on the Autism Spectrum and he has taught me patience, acceptance of differences, the beauty of uniqueness, honesty and authenticity.
Personally, I do not fit into a box. I find that in many situations I am immediately judged based on my appearance. I have learned to accept the initial judgment and break the stereotypes. I embrace being unique, inquisitive, hard-working, kind, intelligent and I enjoy empowering others to be true to themselves rather than feeling pressured to follow expectations imposed upon us.
